                Aromatherapy 
We all know that fragrances and aromas greatly affect us. Often, a smell will evoke memories and feelings. The art of aromatherapy is mind-body therapy.
We can use the oils diffused into the air, added to baths, mixed with potpourri, applied diluted to the skin, added to massage oils or applied to objects, like pillows, or in a spray. The following is a list of oils and their effects:Eucalyptus - relieves nasal congestion and increases alertness. Clary Sage - known to cleanse and rejuvenate the spirit. Used for irritability, fears, bitterness and to lighten a room’s atmosphere. Bergamot - helpful in reducing anxiety, anger, depression and bitterness, can also enhance creativity energizing. Geranium - a sweet floral scent which relieves nervous tension, melancholy and impatience. Balances hormones. Lavender - enhances relaxation and meditation, reduces worries and anxiety effective antibacterial actions. Patchouli - has long been used to give a sense of protection and security and reduce apathy. Peppermint - most often used as an invigorating aroma, enhancing digestion and mental alertness. Orange - helps in dealing with grief and an "uptight" feeling. Rosemary - helps balance feelings of "burnout" and fretfulness promotes mental clarity. Sandalwood - promotes restful sleep, reduces confusion and indecision. Ylang Ylang - a pleasant, comforting scent for balancing mind and body. Supports the immune system
