I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a Registered Nurse, Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Aromatherapist, and Herbalist in private practice with a degree in herbal therapies, a Diploma in Herbal Studies. I was trained, like most nurses, in "Western medicine," but found that my patients needed more than fixing their bodies. Working with laboring women and new families helped me to discover a world of wholistic medicine, recognizing and honoring the mind, body and spirit for health and healing.

                      General Health Tips
- Increase fruits, vegetables (organic, if possible) and whole grains. Decrease meats, processed foods and sugar substitutes. Avoid hydrogenated oils.
- Include flax seed meal (1-2 TBSP), garlic, and soy in your diet as much as possible.
- Drink 1-2 cups of green tea each day.
- Take vitamins only in the recommended doses:
- Vitamin E: 200-400 IU/day
- Mixed Carotenoids: 25,000 units/day
- Vitamin C: 200-500 mgs/day
- Calcium: 500-1,000 mgs/day (especially for women)
- Walk 20-30 minutes at least 4-5 times per week. Walk outside whenever possible.
- Lean to meditate, practice every day.
- Incorporate relaxation-breathing into your routine slow deliberate breaths allowing muscle and emotional tension to release.
- Nurture your spirit enjoy nature, appreciate relationships, share gratitude, give of yourself to others, listen to your heart, rejoice in simple pleasures, pray, laugh, and find the positives.
      Healthy Breakfast on the Go!
1 heaping tsp. Whole Soy Powder
1 tsp. Spirullina Powder or other super green food such as barley grass, Chorella, Kelp, or Chlorophyll
1 tbsp. Psyllium Husk Powder or flax seed meal
6-8 oz. Soy, Almond or Rice  Milk
 
4-6 oz organic fruit juice of your choice
2-3 oz. Water
Mix well, shake or blender.
